Manchester is once again gearing up for its great Irish festival in March. Below we've listed some of events of particular interest. We'll be adding more events but note that full day-by-day listings can be found at the Manchester Irish Festival website www.manchesteririshfestival.co.uk. Irish Festival Parade 2008 Manchester's St Patrick's Parade will take placeSunday 9th March with over 70 floats, bands and walking groups. The Parade will start at 11.45am from outside the Irish World Heritage Centre, Queens Rd and progress along Cheetham Hill Rd, Corporation Street and onto Cross St and around Albert Square before returning to the Irish World Heritage Centre by the same route. | |
