Radio 4 Irish coverage
Two programmes of Irish interest were broadcast on BBC Radio 4 this week:Thinking Allowed discussed the 'new Ireland' and the changes that have occurred in Irish society. Worth a listen, despite a contribution from revisionist historian Roy Foster.
The Friday Play featured Bloody Sunday: Scenes from the Saville Inquiry. This was a dramatic reconstruction of the hearings about the events of Sunday January 30th 1972, focusing on the testimony of civilians who witnessed Bloody Sunday. It continues this coming Friday.
Both programmes are available on the internet via the BBC 'Listen Again' service.
