Uilleann Pipes in Manchester
The beautiful sound of Ireland's foremost instrument, the Uilleann Pipes, can be heard on Saturday 13 December 2008 in Manchester.
There will be workshops for beginners/improvers at Manchester Town Hall during the day and an evening concert at St Catherine's Hall, School Lane, Didsbury, Manchester.
The special guest is virtuoso piper Tiarnán O Duinnchinn, who is one of the great pipers to emerge from the world renowned Armagh Piper's Club http://www.tiarnan.ie/
